Product
Description
SR12MFF is a high performance asbestos based
flexible moulded semi-metallic friction material
with random distribution of finely divided metallic
particles. It has high coefficient of friction
combined with good mechanical properties and
temperature/wear resistance. Known for its excellent
heat dissipation and speed/pressure insensitivity,
it is particularly suitable for bonding purposes.
Applications
SR12M is recommended for use in medium to heavy
duty brakes of passenger cars and light
commercial vehicles and for all industrial/off
highway brake applications.

Bonding
SR12M has good compatibility with all
thermosetting adhesives for bonding purposes.
SR12M is supplied ground on both surfaces and
may be bonded on either side as required.
Recommended Mating Surface
For best performances use good quality, fine
grained pearlitic cast iron or forged/cold
rolled steel as mating surface with a brinell
hardness of 200-230.
