Description
S7RM-AFGF is a high performance asbestos free
flexible moulded friction material with random
distribution of finely divided metallic particles.
It has high coefficient of friction combined with
good mechanical properties and temperature/wear
resistance. Known for its excellent heat dissipation
and speed/pressure insensitivity, it is particularly
suitable for bonding purposes.
Applications
S7RM-AF is recommended for use in medium to
heavy duty brakes of passenger cars and light
commercial vehicles and for all industrial/off
highway brake applications.

Bonding
S7RM-AF has good compatibility with all
thermosetting adhesives for bonding purposes.
S7RM-AF is supplied ground on both surfaces and
may be bonded on either side as required.
Recommended Mating Surface
For best performances use good quality, fine
grained pearlitic cast iron or forged/cold
rolled steel as mating surface with a brinell
hardness of 200-230.
